ŠIPOVO RESIDENTS DONATE EUR 11,140 IN AID TO BOY NEBOJŠA IN KOSOVO AND METOHIJA
ŠIPOVO, JULY 8 /SRNA/ - Representatives of the humanitarian campaign "Šipovo for Nebojša" handed over EUR 11,140 in aid for Nebojša Pavlović, a boy from Velika Hoča in Kosovo and Metohija.
One of the initiators of the campaign, Mladen Janjić, told SRNA that the funds were handed over to Priest Vuksan, who will oversee the construction of Nebojša's house and ensure that the money is used for its intended purpose. "With this act, another major humanitarian campaign has been completed, one that demonstrated the humanity, solidarity and big hearts of the residents of Šipovo," Janjić said. He said they were grateful to all donors, participants, volunteers, businesspeople, institutions and citizens whose contributions and selfless support made it possible for this significant aid to reach Nebojša. "This campaign should serve as an encouragement for us to remain united and ready to help those who need assistance the most," Janjić said. A group of pilgrims from Šipovo, led by Janjić, met the boy Nebojša in Velika Hoča during their pilgrimage and visit to monasteries in Kosovo and Metohija. They had the opportunity at the time to see the difficult conditions in which he lived, after which they decided to launch a humanitarian campaign. The money raised in the campaign was handed over during their visit to the southern Serbian province.
