SERBIA WILL KEEP SUPPORTING SERBS IN REPUBLIKA SRPSKA AND FBiH

MARTIN BROD, AUGUST 2 /SRNA/ – Serbia’s President Aleksandar Vučić says that Serbia has so far allocated €142 million for projects in Republika Srpska and will continue supporting Serbs both in Republika Srpska and the FBiH.

MARTIN BROD, AUGUST 2 /SRNA/ – Serbia’s President Aleksandar Vučić says that Serbia has so far allocated €142 million for projects in Republika Srpska and will continue supporting Serbs both in Republika Srpska and the FBiH.

"It is our duty to support the Church. Our people do not have an easy life here," Vučić said during a meeting at Rmanj Monastery with His Grace Bishop Sergije of the Bihać-Petrovac Diocese and President Milorad Dodik. He assessed that Serbs in the four Serb-majority municipalities of Canton 10 are resilient, just as they are in Kosovo and Metohija, where they continue to resist terror. "The world remains silent about the suffering of Orthodox Christians because it laid the groundwork for it in 1999, 2006 and 2008. No one's reign of oppression, including those terrorizing our people in Kosovo, lasts forever," Vučić said. He stressed that the state of Serbia had provided assistance in Bosanski Petrovac municipality regarding a manor house and land, and that substantial investments had also been made in Rmanj Monastery. "If the issue is funding, we will resolve it. This is of great importance for our people in the Bihać-Petrovac Diocese. We must also preserve Drvar and the Yumco factory. This is where we are losing the most, but women need jobs," Vučić said. He stressed that being employed is important for people as it enables them to remain in their communities and sustain their lives there.
