THERE IS NO BiH CULTURAL HERITAGE

ŠIPOVO, AUGUST 3 /SRNA/ - Bosniak politicians in BiH are now pushing the narrative of alleged BiH cultural heritage, while their narrative of the one person, one vote concept has weakened following Donald Trump's arrival as US president, Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik said.

"We tell them that there is no BiH cultural heritage; there is Serbian cultural heritage, Croatian cultural heritage, and Turkish cultural heritage. Bosniaks are a young nation that has not had the opportunity to create anything of value in this regard," Dodik told reporters in Šipovo, where he is visiting with Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić. He added that Bosniaks become angry when they are told this, while expecting Serbs to accept the narrative of BiH cultural heritage, which never existed, adding that even during the communist era, a concept of BiH culture was never successfully created. "Why are you angry when I want to protect my Serbian cultural heritage? Respect me, and I have no problem respecting you," Dodik said. He pointed out that Bosniak politicians, as well as the media, avoid saying "Republika Srpska" and say only "RS" instead. "Then I will also refer to Bosnia and Herzegovina as 'BiH'. Then they say, 'Dodik is undermining the Constitution.' But what are you doing?" Dodik asked. He stressed that Bosniaks believe they have defeated him and that their biggest problem now is Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić. "They see a problem in Serbia because Serbia is strong," Dodik said, recalling that Alija Izetbegović had also said that, if they wanted a strong position for Muslims, that is, Bosniaks, they had to strive for Serbia to be weak. He stressed that a strong Serbia does not mean the weakness of others, but quite the opposite.
