PETKOVIĆ: NENAD’S INJURIES MUST NOT GO UNPUNISHED!

BELGRADE, AUGUST 11 /SRNA/ – Director of the Serbia’s parliametary Office for Kosovo and Metohija Petar Petković says he demands an urgent international reaction and investigation into the brutal attack by the so-called Kosovo Police on Nenad Rašković from the village of Dren in Zubin Potok, as well as the punishment of all those responsible.

Petković said that the bruises, contusions and brutal abuse and beating of Nenad Rašković are an image of the “democracy” of self-proclaimed Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti and attitude toward Serbs. “For weeks, months and years, we have been warning the entire international community about the persecution of Serbs by Kurti’s regime, which has led to this,” Petković posted on X. He pointed out that when those responsible face no sanctions and there is no adequate protection, these are the consequences. “Nenad’s injuries must not go unpunished!” Petković stressed. Members of the so-called Kosovo Police raided the family home of Nenad Rašković in the village of Dren, the municipality of Zubin Potok, this afternoon, beat him, took him into the woods and tied him to a tree, demanding that he confess to committing war crimes against Albanians, the Serb List said. According to Rašković’s account, they began beating him for no reason after searching his home, then took him to a nearby forest, tied him to a tree and brutally beat him with a water hose, causing multiple injuries and, according to initial information, fractured ribs.
