DODIK CALLS FOR CONSIDERATION OF BAN ON MICHAEL MARTENS ENTERING REPUBLIKA SRPSKA

BANJA LUKA, AUGUST 15 /SRNA/ - President Milorad Dodik has stressed that the lies which have been placed for years about Serbs and Republika Srpska, have made life more difficult for people than they would have been had they not been so blatantly demonized, adding that Michael Martens, consumed by hatred, has also inflicted much malice.

"That is why, better than most others, we understand how much malice is woven into the sentence: 'How can we help kill as many Russians as possible?'" Dodik wrote on the social network X. He noted that the Serbian and Russian peoples are the greatest sufferers of the 20th century and that the sacrifice they made for their own freedom, as well as the freedom of others, is immeasurable. "Only twisted minds can rejoice in and call for the killing of members of the Russian people. Martens’s inherent hatred of Russians is so great that it does not matter to him who kills them, as long as they are killed," Dodik pointed out. Dodik added that Martens cannot be called a journalist and that people like him cannot be described with any attribute befitting human beings. "We should consider Republika Srpska's position toward Michael Martens. One of the possible options is also banning him from entering Republika Srpska," Dodik believes. German journalist Martens asked, on August 8, at a press conference attended by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić in Belgrade, what European countries could do to "help kill more Russians."
