PRNJAVOR, AUGUST 18 /SRNA/ – Republika Srpska Prime Minister Savo Minić congratulated all Prnjavor residents on the city’s patron saint’s day, the Transfiguration of the Lord, stressing that transformation, in the true sense of the word, can be felt at every step in the city.

"I spent the entire day in Prnjavor. I was with our veterans, businesspeople and farmers, and I can say that transformation can be felt in every sense of the word," Minić told the press after the evening service at the Church of St. George, which marked the beginning of the city’s patron saint’s day celebrations. Minić stressed that numerous infrastructure issues have been resolved in Prnjavor, and that the city administration has new projects ready. "The Republika Srpska Government is in a major investment cycle that has not bypassed Prnjavor. Today, one entrepreneur here said that everything that was done in Prnjavor before the construction of the motorway can, after its construction, be multiplied threefold. This tells us about our obligation to build and strengthen the entire Republika Srpska," Minić stressed. The celebration of Prnjavor’s patron saint’s day was also attended by Serb member of the BiH Presidency Željka Cvijanović. Along with numerous faithfull, those present included Minister of Finance and Treasury in the Council of Ministers Srđan Amidžić, Prnjavor Mayor Darko Tomaš, and City Assembly Speaker Dražen Mikić. Following the evening prayer, a Transfiguration procession was held.
