MINIĆ ATTENDS DISTRIBUTION OF BELARUS TRACTORS TO YOUNG FARMERS IN VRŠANI
BIJELJINA, AUGUST 25 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska Prime Minister Savo Minić attended today in Vršanji near Bijeljina the distribution of Belarus tractors to young farmers as part of the Republika Srpska and the Village of Republika Srpska: My Place to Live programme.
"This is perhaps one of the most beautiful measures introduced by the Republika Srpska Government and the relevant ministry. There are more than 23 families here who have three or more children. These are our young people who want to stay in Republika Srpska. This is a special project in which the Government provides 60 percent of the funds, while our farmers contribute 40 percent. As was the case last time, the process has been carried out with great speed, efficiency and transparency," Minić said. He added that the project is nearing completion and that 49 applications have been completed and processed so far. "Payments are being made in the meantime, and everything will be fully completed and collected within the next 10 days. All the tractors are here," Minić told the press during a visit to the Agro-Simeks Company, which is an authorized dealer and service provider for Belarus and Mahindra tractors in BiH. He stressed that the Republika Srpska and the Village of Republika Srpska: My Place to Live project is perhaps one of the most attractive measures in Republika Srpska. "We are trying to give all young people who have decided to live in Republika Srpska some of the attention they deserve, so that they understand that, in addition to regular measures, we have special measures for young agricultural producers, for those who live in Republika Srpska and, as our people would say, who have `nourished their furrow` here," Minić said. He added that he was pleased to come to Vršani to share this moment with the farmers and discuss future measures the Government will develop for them. Owner of Agro-Simeks Company Jovo Simić said that the beneficiaries were very satisfied and that it would be good if projects like this could continue to be implemented in the future. "Thanks to the Ministry of Agriculture and the prime Minister, we have gathered today to distribute another larger quantity of `Belarus` tractors," Simić said. He added that Agro-Simeks Comoany would distribute 86 tractors at subsidized prices this year.
