VULIĆ: COMPLAINT TO DOBOJ CITY ELECTION COMMISSION DUE TO SUSPICION OF POLLING STATION TRADING

SARAJEVO, AUGUST 26 /SRNA/ - The Head of the SNSD Caucus in the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, Sanja Vulić, told SRNA that she had filed a complaint with the Doboj City Election Commission due to serious suspicions of illicit trading of polling station positions and irregularities in proposing candidates for polling committees for the upcoming general elections.

"I requested that the disputed list be rejected and that the case be forwarded to the Central Election Commission of BiH," Vulić pointed out. She directed a question to the state-level institutions of BiH and the CEC, asking how long they will remain silent while two "troikas," Serbian and Bosniak, are undermining the Dayton Agreement and the interests of the Serb people in Republika Srpska. "Does the BiH CEC see what the citizens see? Will the institutions of BiH and the CEC, if such things are tolerated, become accomplices in that policy?" Vulić asked. She believes that the CEC must provide a clear answer to these questions and warns that "the electoral process is no one's political fiefdom, and institutions must not serve as a service for any `troika`". The media previously reported that the Party for BiH's list for polling committees in Doboj consists exclusively of SDS activists, and that the authorized representative of this party is an official of the Secure Srpska Movement.
