GENERAL MLADIĆ WILL REMAIN IN THE BRIGHTEST PAGES OF HISTORY OF LIBERATION WARS

BANJA LUKA, AUGUST 27 /SRNA/ — The legacy of General Ratko Mladić will remain recorded in the brightest pages of the history of the wars of liberation fought by the Serb people, and no one will ever change that fact, President of the Organization of Senior Officers of the Army of Republika Srpska Slobodan Župljanin said in a statement to SRNA.

"General Ratko Mladić is a hero to the Serb people who saved them from a planned pogrom, and no court ruling can diminish the love and feelings that the Serb people have for their general," Župljanin said. He said that the Organization of Senior Officers of the Army of Republika Srpska, demobilized Army of Republika Srpska veterans and all Serb patriots received with pain and sorrow the news that General Mladić had died in The Hague detention facility. "The criminal hand of global swindlers has, in this way, crowned its bloody campaign against the most honorable leaders of the Serb people. In doing so, they have violated and desecrated everything that is considered an existential human and humanitarian issue in the normal world," Župljanin stated. He added that there was no law, right, norm, custom or moral principle that could prevent medical assistance from being provided to a sick and incapacitated person. "Precisely this satanic tribunal, headed by Graciela Santana, trampled on all human and humanitarian norms and refused to provide appropriate medical assistance to the seriously ill General Mladić by refusing to release him for treatment in a country that meets all the necessary conditions, so that a dying man could be helped to leave this world with less suffering," Župljanin noted. He said he believed that the wrongdoing committed by those responsible constituted, by all humanitarian and human standards, a crime of a special kind for which they would one day certainly be held accountable, if not under earthly laws, then certainly according to divine justice. Župljanin called on the institutions of Serbia to organize a dignified farewell for General Mladić to the heavenly realms of the Kingdom of Heaven. Former commander of the Main Staff of the Army of Republika Srpska General Ratko Mladić died at a detention hospital in The Hague at the age of 83, Serbia's State Secretary at the Ministry of Human and Minority Rights Lidija Pavićević said in a statement to SRNA.
