PLAQUE FOR CONTRIBUTION TO MUNICIPALITY DEVELOPMENT PRESENTED TO MINIĆ
ŠEKOVIĆI, AUGUST 28 /SRNA/ – Republika Srpska Prime Minister Savo Minić was presented today with the Municipality's Charter for his special contribution to the development of the local community, on the occasion of the Patron Saint’s Day and Municipality Day of Šekovići.
Addressing the ceremonial gathering, Minić said that every day demonstrates how Republika Srpska is loved, above all out of respect for those who gave their lives for Republika Srpska. "We show our love by respecting war veterans, prison camp survivors, mothers with sick children, parent-caregivers, by providing children with textbooks and by carrying out all these investments in Šekovići. That is how Republika Srpska is loved and strengthened," Minić stressed. He said that Republika Srpska has broken free from international constraints and that the time when the Srpska institutions were persecuted is over. Minić noted that the BiH judiciary still files many indictments simply because someone was a Serb, stressing that Republika Srpska would resolve this issue as well. "Sarajevo will not try us because we now have both the power and the strength, because we have opened up to the world and are carrying out investments," the Republika Srpska prime minister stressed. Minić added that there is no municipality in Republika Srpska where investments have not been made. "We will not stop, especially now – BAM 7.4 billion is the investment cycle in Republika Srpska, with 1,400 more people employed, and Republika Srpska is finally moving along the path it should be taking," Minić said. He also said that Republika Srpska had always been on the right side of history. "We must all love our homeland, which means the flag, our patron saint's days, the graves of those who deserve the greatest credit for Republika Srpska," Minić concluded.
