RUSSIAN AMBASSADOR PAYS TRIBUTE TO GENERAL MLADIĆ
BELGRADE, SEPTEMBER 7 /SRNA/ - Russian Ambassador to Serbia Alexander Botsan-Kharchenko paid tribute to General Ratko Mladić at the Church of St. Luke in Belgrade's Vidikovac neighborhood, where his coffin is on display.
Botsan-Kharchenko arrived at the church accompanied by his associates, as well as prominent Serbian lawyer Goran Petronijević, and after paying his respects, he expressed his condolences to members of General Mladić's family. For years, the Russian Federation, through various institutions and forums, has sought to help General Mladić obtain an early release from The Hague so that he could receive medical treatment in Serbia.
