ŠOLAJA: CAMPAIGN FAIRLY CALM SO FAR

BANJA LUKA, SEPTEMBER 21 /SRNA/ - Political analyst Bojan Šolaja said that the campaign for the upcoming general elections in BiH has so far been fairly calm and that all political actors are focused on promoting their policies to voters.

Šolaja told SRNA that there had been some minor statements directed at the opposing side, but noted that these were not issues that could have escalated into anything more serious. "It is particularly interesting when one takes into account public perception. Namely, people are talking much less about the elections in public than is the case on social media and in the media. So far, everything has been proceeding peacefully," Šolaja said. He expressed hope that the situation would remain calm until election day, October 4.
