MINIĆ AHEAD BY OVER 50,000 VOTES

SARAJEVO, OCTOBER 4 /SRNA/ - SNSD candidate for President of Republika Srpska Savo Minić has won 267,500 votes, or 52.11 percent, based on results from 91.11 percent of polling stations, according to preliminary data released by the BiH Central Election Commission /CEC/ as of 10 p.m.

Results are available from 1,897 polling stations, while results from another 185 are still pending. SDS candidate Branko Blanuša has won 215,267 votes, or 41.94 percent. There were 513,265 valid ballots, or 95.27 percent, while 18,686 blank ballots, or 3.47 percent, were invalid, along with 6,769 ballots, or 1.26 percent, declared invalid on other grounds.
