ČOVIĆ: ELECTION RESULT PUT KONAKOVIĆ IN HIS CURRENT POSITION

BANJA LUKA, OCTOBER 12 /SRNA/ - HDZ BiH President Dragan Čović said election results and political developments had put Elmedin Konaković in the position he is in now, adding that he needs visibility and is therefore talking about forming a government without SNSD, which Čović said was not possible.

Čović said he did not want to comment on ministers who were on their way out. "I avoid commenting on anyone, especially my colleague Konaković. Those who fantasize can always come up with something like that and probably use it to make themselves seem more important," Čović told reporters in Banja Luka. He said there were no formal legal or constitutional grounds for forming a government without SNSD.
