XI JINPING CONGRATULATES PARTICIPANTS AT CANTON FAIR

BEIJING, OCTOBER 15 /SRNA/ – Chinese President Xi Jinping today sent a congratulatory message to participants in the China Import and Export Fair, known as the Canton Fair, which is being held for the 140th time.

Over its 70-year history, the Canton Fair has become a key platform for promoting China's foreign trade and advancing the country's high-level opening-up to the world, Xi said, according to China Media Group. China is ready to work with all countries to jointly uphold the multilateral trading system, ensure the stability and smooth operation of global industrial supply chains, expand opportunities for mutually beneficial international economic and trade cooperation, and promote inclusive economic globalization, he said.
