DODIK CONGRATULATES NETANYAHU ON ELECTION RESULT

BANJA LUKA, OCTOBER 28 /SRNA/ – President Milorad Dodik congratulated Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on the election result, saying that Israel had demonstrated that freedom is defended not only with an army and walls, but also by people going to the polls when times are hardest, for which it enjoys the respect and unwavering support of Republika Srpska.

"My friend Benjamin Netanyahu, congratulations! Likud has once again won the largest number of seats, which is the that result speaks louder than any poll, campaign or pressure. You are heading your people through a time when the entire world was being urged to look the other way, and the Israelis have once again placed their trust in you. May you enjoy good health, and may God give you strength for everything that lies ahead," Dodik said. Dodik also extended his congratulations to the State of Israel. "These elections are further proof of something rarely seen - the highest level of democracy, in a part of the world where there are so many who do not wish democracy well. You voted peacefully, freely and with dignity, while terrorist attacks, wars on your borders and threats from all sides loomed over you. There are few nations in the world capable of doing that," Dodik added. Dodik stated that Republika Srpska stands with Israel today, tomorrow and always.
