VERDICT AGAINST STOVRAG - CONTINUATION OF REWARDING THOSE WHO ABUSED AND KILLED SERBS

EAST SARAJEVO, JUNE 20 /SRNA/ - The final verdict against Mustafa Stovrag, who was sentenced to three years in prison for crimes against Serb prisoners, is a continuation of the process by which the extra-constitutional Court of BiH rewards all those who killed, mistreated, and abused Serbs, said Branimir Kojić, president of the Organization of Families of Captured and Killed Soldiers and Missing Civilians of Srebrenica.
In a statement to SRNA, Kojić emphasized that no one should live under the illusion that the extra-constitutional Court of BiH is a court of justice, stating that this institution is nothing more than a farce and a circus, where Serbs are always sentenced to suffering, pain, and abuse. "All Serbs who did not perish during the war are now being destroyed by other means, through verdicts in favor of/against those who killed, tortured, and abused them in the most monstrous ways," said Kojić. According to him, the wounds inflicted by the Court of BiH hurt the victims even more, as emotional pain is much harder to bear than physical pain. He emphasized that Republika Srpska must prohibit trials of Serbs in Sarajevo, as the vast majority of those judged by the Sarajevo judiciary were convicted, while the families of murdered Serbs were humiliated by acquittals and by shamefully lenient sentences, such as in the case of Stovrag, who was nothing less than rewarded. The extra-constitutional Court of BiH has issued a final verdict against a former member of the Goražde Public Security Station Mustafa Stovrag, who was found guilty of beating three Republika Srpska Army prisoners in the military investigative prison in Goražde. He beat the prisoners, among other things, with a rubber baton. Stovrag was originally indicted in 2019 together with Ćamil Ramić, but the proceedings against him were separated due to his health condition. There is no right to appeal this verdict.
