VIŠKOVIĆ: BLAGOJEVICH WILL HELP PROMOTE UNDERSTANDING OF SRPSKA'S POSITION IN BiH

BANJA LUKA, JUNE 23 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska Prime Minister Radovan Višković emphasized that former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich, as a representative of the Serb people in the United States, will work in the coming period to improve understanding of Srpska's position within BiH among the current U.S. administration, in line with the Dayton Peace Agreement.

"He will also work on connecting with our people to enhance economic cooperation," said Višković, who hosted Blagojevich today and introduced him to the work of the Srpska Government. Višković stressed that Republika Srpska sees Blagojevich as a good friend, announced the Government's Public Relations Bureau. The prime minister thanked Blagojevich for his visit to Banja Luka and Republika Srpska, expressing hope that he will take positive memories from his stay in the region to the United States.
