EXTREMELY IMPORTANT VISIT BY ROD BLAGOJEVICH

BANJA LUKA, JUNE 24 /SRNA/ – Political analyst Dževad Galijašević assessed that the current visit of Rod Blagojevich, former governor of the U.S. state of Illinois and associate of U.S. President Donald Trump, is of exceptional importance for Republika Srpska.

Galijašević told SRNA that this visit matters because Blagojevich himself had faced politically motivated proceedings, similar to those experienced by Trump and the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik. "Trump was symbolically a victim of a politically orchestrated process, the same kind that is being used to persecute President Dodik. He is a victim of the same America that unjustly sanctioned more than 50 individuals from Republika Srpska," Galijašević said. He emphasized that Trump defeated such U.S. politics and is now working to erase such legacy. "Blagojevich is an important associate of Trump, as seen in Trump’s decision to pardon him from criminal prosecution. It is good that he is here. In fact, this is part of Dodik's finely crafted diplomacy, piece by piece, building a tower of international support that will ultimately demonstrate effective political strength and a commitment to ending the current agony in BiH," Galijašević said.
