DODIK MEETS WITH ROD BLAGOJEVICH IN VIŠEGRAD

VIŠEGRAD, JUNE 26 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik arrived in Višegrad, where he met with American politician of Serbian origin and former Governor of Illinois, Rod Blagojevich.

After the meeting, Dodik and Blagojevich, accompanied by the mayor of Višegrad, Mladen Đurević, visited Andrićgrad and then set off to the memorial complex in Stari Brod by boat. They will lay wreaths and flowers in Stari Brod and pay tribute to the innocent victims of the Ustaša massacre of 1942, when more than 6,000 Serbs were killed at that location. Blagojevich arrived in Republika Srpska on June 22 at the invitation of President Dodik. In the past few days, he met with the highest-ranking officials of Republika Srpska, to whom he expressed strong support. After the meeting with Dodik, Blagojevich stated that he would inform U.S. President Donald Trump about what is happening in Republika Srpska, whose rights are being threatened by an unelected bureaucrat.
