LJEVNAIĆ: MOUNTAIN WITH THE MOST SUMMER ATTRACTIONS IN EUROPE

JAHORINA, JUNE 26 /SRNA/ – The Director of the Olympic Center “Jahorina,” Dejan Ljevnaić, stated that Jahorina is the mountain with the most summer attractions in Europe—26 in total—all fully prepared and ready to offer a wide range of experiences.
“The most important feature is the panoramic gondola ride to the top of Jahorina, where we have a phenomenal attraction—a lake. There's also the alpine coaster, along with a large number of adrenaline-filled activities for the entire family. We’re entering the season fully ready. For this summer, we’ve decided that all BiH citizens will get a 50 percent discount on all attractions,” Ljevnaić said at a press conference on Jahorina. He added that today’s attractions were free for visitors, and that a 30 percent discount will be offered on Friday and Saturday. “Parking lots on the mountain are already full, which would have been unthinkable just seven years ago. Back then, Jahorina’s total revenue for the entire summer was just BAM 4,000. Last summer, we reached BAM 2.7 million, thanks solely to investments from the Olympic Center and the Government of Republika Srpska into summer infrastructure—and we had 100,000 visitors,” Ljevnaić said, adding that even higher numbers are expected this summer. As part of the “Fejs” festival, Ljevnaić announced a concert by Alen Islamović for Friday. “The key message of the ‘Fejs’ festival is that it represents the synergy of all of us who live and work on Jahorina—hoteliers’ associations, the Ministry of Trade and Tourism led by Minister Denis Šulić, the City of East Sarajevo, the municipalities of Pale and Trnovo, the tourist organization, and private homeowners,” Ljevnaić said. He noted that guests increasingly prefer active vacations and movement, and in addition to Jahorina, he always recommends visiting Ravna Planina and Trebević. “I want to thank Minister Šulić for his help and support in organizing the festival. He’s doing an outstanding job in developing tourism and supporting Jahorina,” said Ljevnaić. The “Fejs” festival, geared towards families as well as individuals seeking an active holiday in nature, once again offers a wide array of attractions this year, including discounted accommodations, a wine and rakija festival, various entertainment activities such as DJ parties and concerts, and dedicated family zones.
