FILIPOVIĆ: UNITY AND SUPPORT FOR SRPSKA'S INSTITUTIONS

VIENNA, August 11 /SRNA/ - The Head of the Republika Srpska Representative Office in Austria Mladen Filipović stated that the attempt by the Central Election Commission of BiH to take away the legitimately won mandate of Srpska President Milorad Dodik is antidemocratic and concerning.

"It is now very important that we remain united, determined, and that we support the institutions of Republika Srpska, as well as the President, and not allow various centers of power to strip mandates from our democratically elected officials," Filipović told SRNA. He stressed that all possible and lawful means should be used to prevent this type of undemocratic action against Srpska. Filipović added that the Serb community in Austria is following the situation in Republika Srpska and BiH with concern.
