BLANUŠA: I BELIEVE IN VICTORY AT THE ELECTIONS
PRNJAVOR, November 9 /SRNA/ - SDS candidate for President of Republika Srpska, Branko Blanuša, said at an election rally this evening in Prnjavor that he believes in victory at the upcoming early elections, stressing that his goal is to restore dignity to every citizen, regardless of party affiliation.
Blanuša said that all citizens must be equal before the law and institutions, and that budget funds and resources of public companies must be used appropriately - for schools, hospitals, salaries, and pensions. "Our public resources - forests, mineral wealth - should benefit all citizens of Republika Srpska. I will therefore propose the establishment of a special fund to allocate a portion of these resources toward supporting youth and education," Blanuša told reporters. He added that he will insist on investigating the origin of property and prosecuting major cases of corruption and crime. "I sincerely believe in victory at the November 23 elections. We must restore faith and optimism to young people, security to the middle generation, and dignity to war veterans and pensioners," Blanuša said. President of the SDS Prnjavor City Board, Milan Petrović, expressed confidence that the citizens will elect their candidate as president of Republika Srpska. "We expect, we hope for, and we will work to ensure fair and honest elections, so that the will of the people is respected," Petrović told reporters.
