MAZALICA: THERE IS NO POSSIBILITY FOR CONSTITUTIONAL COURT OF BiH TO ANNUL GOVERNMENT

BANJA LUKA, SEPTEMBER 18 /SRNA/ - The head of the SNSD Caucus in the National Assembly of Republika Srpska, Srđan Mazalica, stated that there is no possibility for the Constitutional Court of BiH to annul the Government of Republika Srpska or to remove Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik from office.
"The appeal submitted to the Constitutional Court of BiH comes from outside Republika Srpska, and we consider it a hostile act against Srpska. We will respond accordingly and will not allow anyone to call into question either the President or the Government," Mazalica told reporters in Banja Luka. Mazalica pointed out that it is clear that Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik proposed the prime minister-designate for the formation of the Government, that Dodik is the President of Republika Srpska, and emphasized that these facts do not depend on the stance of the Constitutional Court of BiH. He said that the National Assembly of Republika Srpska has taken this position and that it elected a Government to which no objections were raised by any Caucus in the Council of Peoples of Republika Srpska.
