DODIK: A VOTE FOR SINIŠA KARAN SHOWS THAT SNSD IS A STATE-BUILDING POLITICAL PARTY
BANJA LUKA, November 8 /SRNA/ - SNSD President Milorad Dodik has called on the citizens of Republika Srpska to take part in the elections and vote for Siniša Karan, in order to once again demonstrate that SNSD is a victorious, state-building party of freedom.
"SNSD is a victorious, state-building political party. Within our party exists the capacity to build a state, while other political parties only possess the capacity for instability and disorder," Dodik stated. He emphasized that Karan is part of his team, along with Željka Cvijanović, Savo Minić, and all activists gathered today in Banja Luka, where the SNSD City Board launched its election campaign. Dodik noted that these elections for the President of Republika Srpska were imposed by Muslims from Sarajevo, in an attempt to devastate Srpska and demonstrate to the Serbian people that they can make decisions on their behalf. He called on citizens to vote for Karan and once again confirm that SNSD is a state-building political party, a party of freedom—one that understands the moment and the relations that must be established. "We are the ones defending the freedom of Republika Srpska, safeguarding its dignity. We are the ones building Republika Srpska. We do not allow Srpska to halt its investments. We are the guarantors of stability and security for every family here," Dodik stressed. He added that they are proud to secure fiscal stability and to have dismantled all organized criminal groups. "This is the Republika we are building, the Republika we are fighting for, a Republika with allies that will continue to defend its constitutional status as defined by Dayton," Dodik said. According to him, Bosnia and Herzegovina is sustainable only if it is constitutional. If it is not—and this one is not—then it is unsustainable. He reiterated his readiness to cooperate. He also highlighted the promotion of fraternal cooperation with Serbia, consistently supporting democratic processes there, as well as the government and President Aleksandar Vučić in their efforts to stabilize Serbia. "We are SNSD. We are the strength of the people. We are what this nation needs and has nothing better than this. There are skeptics with objections, but those objections are not addressed to us. We are the ones who deserve gratitude because we fought persistently for 20 years to ensure Republika Srpska remained stable and peaceful, and we secured the redefinition of its international position," Dodik said. He expressed gratitude to Cvijanović, Ana Trišić Babić, Karan, Željko Budimir, and many others who worked tirelessly to make Republika Srpska recognized. "We remain in strategic partnership with our friends—with Hungary, with the new administration in the United States. We want to develop new channels of dialogue and discuss all topics. We are especially proud to have heard from them that their policy no longer includes interventionism," Dodik noted. He reiterated that Christian Schmidt is the biggest obstacle and "the biggest waste."
