SRPSKA'S POLICE REMAIN SHILED AND PILLAR OF SECURITY FOR EVERY CITIZEN

SARAJEVO, NOVEMBER 20 /SRNA/ – In her message marking the patron saint’s day of the Ministry of Internal Affairs /MOI/ of Republika Srpska – St. Archangel Michael – the Serb member of the BiH Presidency, Željka Cvijanović, emphasized that the police force is not just an institution, but a shield, a support, and a guarantee of security for every citizen of Republika Srpska.

SARAJEVO, NOVEMBER 20 /SRNA/ – In her message marking the patron saint’s day of the Ministry of Internal Affairs /MOI/ of Republika Srpska – St. Archangel Michael – the Serb member of the BiH Presidency, Željka Cvijanović, emphasized that the police force is not just an institution, but a shield, a support, and a guarantee of security for every citizen of Republika Srpska.



In her congratulatory message to Minister of Internal Affairs Željko Budimir, Police Director Siniša Kostrešević and all members of the Republika Srpska MOI, Cvijanović expressed her gratitude for the responsibility, dedication, and selflessness shown daily by police officers. “Your role is irreplaceable in preserving public order and peace, and in protecting the constitutional order,” Cvijanović said. She added that the trust MOI enjoys among the public is the greatest acknowledgment of its work and professionalism, according to the BiH Presidency. “On the patron saint's day of the MOI, St. Archangel Michael, the protector of the brave and the just, we pay special tribute to all police officers who lost their lives defending Republika Srpska during the Defensive-Homeland War,” Cvijanović stressed.
