SRPSKA HAS DEFINED DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY
BANJA LUKA, DECEMBER 10 /SRNA/ – The Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations in the Council of Ministers Staša Košarac stated that Republika Srpska is an organized and stable state entity with a clear development vision, which is confirmed by foreign investments across numerous local communities in Srpska.
"Prestigious institutions conducted an analysis of investment attractiveness, tax policy, and overall conditions across countries in the region, and despite objections from Sarajevo, they ranked Republika Srpska among the top ten," Košarac told reporters in Banja Luka. He pointed out that the best examples are Gradiška and Laktaši, where the potential of those who have invested capital in Srpska is clearly visible. "The same applies to Derventa, Kotor Varoš, Čelinac and several other areas where foreign-capital companies have already proven that investing in Republika Srpska pays off," Košarac said. He believes that Republika Srpska's institutions are contributing to efforts to ensure that the new Gradiška border crossing becomes fully operational, without "missteps," in order to support foreign investment in Srpska. "The support of the Ministry of Economy and Entrepreneurship through incentive measures, along with the activities of the Ministry of Trade and Tourism, shows that there is a defined strategic approach to attracting foreign investment to Srpska," Košarac emphasized.
