BRONZA: BiH CITIZEN INJURED IN RESORT FIRE UNDERGOING RECOVERY
BERN, JANUARY 5 /SRNA/ – The Ambassador of BiH to Switzerland Boro Bronza told SRNA that a BiH citizen injured in the New Year's Eve fire at the popular Swiss ski resort Crans-Montana is recovering.
"The person is, fortunately, on the path to recovery, undergoing necessary reconstructive surgical procedures," Bronza said. He noted that the identity of the injured individual has been confirmed, but no additional information can be provided without consulting their family. "Swiss authorities continue to stand by the previously reported figures - 40 dead and 119 injured. The identification process for all victims was completed yesterday," the BiH ambassador in Switzerland said. According to him, among the deceased are 21 Swiss nationals and 19 foreigners, mostly French and Italian citizens. The majority of victims are young people aged 14 to 25.
