CVIJANOVIĆ EXPECTS KRNJIĆ TO BEAR LEGAL RESPONSIBILITY FOR HIS DECISIONS
BANJA LUKA, APRIL 2 /SRNA/ – The Serb member of the BiH Presidency Željka Cvijanović expects that Indirect Taxation Authority /ITA/ Governing Board member Zijad Krnjić will bear criminal responsibility for his decisions to block the opening of the border crossing in Gradiška, as there is no justification for such actions.
Cvijanović reminded that today, once again, Zijad Krnjić voted down a decision by the ITA Governing Board that would have enabled the opening of the completed and functional border crossing in Gradiška. Given the upcoming holiday period and the expected arrival of a large number of people from abroad, Cvijanović stressed that due to Krnjić’s irresponsibility and political Sarajevo, travelers will have to wait for several hours at the old border crossing. “Only in BiH is it possible not only to have a foreign colonial administrator, but also for a constructed bridge and border crossing to remain unopened due to abuse and the whims of Sarajevo's representative,” Cvijanović wrote on X. In addition to the immeasurable harm caused to people waiting in long queues, she added that there is also concrete damage being inflicted on the economies of Republika Srpska and the Federation of BiH. “Alongside moral responsibility, I expect Zijad Krnjić to also bear criminal responsibility for his decisions, as they are an act of pure malice for which there is no justification,” Cvijanović stressed.
