GOGANOVIĆ AND KALABUKHOV EXCHANGE VIEWS ON GEOPOLITICAL TRENDS AND POLITICAL DEVELOPMENTS IN BiH
ISTOČNO SARAJEVO, APRIL 2 /SRNA/ – The Deputy Minister of Defense in the Council of Ministers Aleksandar Goganović met today with Russian Ambassador to BiH Igor Kalabukhov to discuss the current political situation in BiH, as well as current geopolitical developments and challenges shaping domestic and international relations.
“The meeting was held in an open and constructive atmosphere, with an exchange of views on ways to preserve peace and stability amid pronounced global challenges,” the Office of the Deputy Minister of Defense said in a statement. The interlocutors pointed out that friendly relations between Republika Srpska and the Russian Federation have been further strengthened in recent years through responsible policies and mutual respect, with a special contribution from President Vladimir Putin and President Milorad Dodik. “The Serbian people will never forget the support of the Russian people throughout history,” Goganović emphasized. Also attending the meeting were Russian Federation military attache in BiH Brigadier Ilija Skrebnjev and Chief of Staff to the Deputy Minister of Defense Aleksandar Nikolić.
