BANJA LUKA, JANUARY 6 /SRNA/ - SNSD president Milorad Dodik extended Christmas Eve greetings to Orthodox believers, especially Serbs, and wished them happiness, peace, and understanding.

“Happy Christmas Eve! We celebrate Christmas, a day of gathering, peace, and the best wishes for everyone. I also wish all people, especially Serbs, all the best on this day, happiness for them and their families, and peace and stability for the people who do not celebrate,” Dodik told reporters. He wished for greater understanding among people and goodwill to preserve stability and peace. “I believe there is no holier message than the one taught to us by our faith, which is that on the days we celebrate Christmas, we wish for peace and stability. This is what I want to convey on Christmas Eve, finally in a winter atmosphere after many years,” Dodik said. Dodik is attending the evening service at the Christ the Savior Cathedral in Banja Luka, after which the blessing of the Yule log is scheduled. He said that he will spend Christmas Eve with his grandchildren.
