DODIK: WE WILL WIN ELECTIONS

BANJA LUKA, MARCH 31 /SRNA/ – SNSD leader Milorad Dodik says the party will win more than 40 percent of the vote in the upcoming general elections and secure the victory of SNSD candidates for the president of Republika Srpska and the Serb member of BiH Presidency.

"I have no doubt about that. We are preparing the organisation. We have significantly strengthened all segments of the organisation and, according to relevant research, 94 percent of SNSD members are fully confident in what we are doing and support the leadership and the organisation," Dodik said at a press conference in Banja Luka during a break in the SNSD Presidency session. Dodik says the SNSD is a party recognised as state-building and that it works on the foundations of what is called Republika Srpska. "When it comes to the roof that is leaking, called BiH, we are less and less interested in working on it. SNSD has turned to what is primary, that is Republika Srpska," Dodik said. He has added that SNSD will be optimally prepared for the elections, noting that there are currently 202,000 verified SNSD members in Republika Srpska. "We know that by the end of May we will already have discussions about electoral lists, candidacies, and nominations. We will carry that out in the best possible way," Dodik said. He states the SNSD secures its finances through the activities of its members. "We have been deprived of any public funds. Through donations and the so-called functional contribution we secure enough money to function as a political organisation. That fascist in Sarajevo has failed to destroy what he intended - the president of SNSD, the Republic, and the SNSD itself. They have been unsuccessful in that and will not be able to do anything," Dodik emphasized. He added that SNSD has an organisational presence at every polling station in Republika Srpska. "We are developing very intensive communication with all social structures in Republika Srpska," Dodik said.
