BOJIĆ: WITH THE SUPPORT OF THE SRPSKA GOVERNMENT, IMPLEMENTATION OF IMPORTANT PROJECTS IN LAKTAŠI
LAKTAŠI, MAY 24 /SRNA/ - The Mayor of Laktaši, Miroslav Bojić, told SRNA that the 6 million KM approved by the Government of Republika Srpska for this local community will enable the implementation of numerous important projects.
Bojić explained that the funds will be used for the construction of a sewage network in the local community of Trn, the construction of sidewalks in the Veliko Blaško settlement, and the expansion of the roadway. "This is a continuation of the works that citizens are expecting, because the sewage network has not been worked on for 17 years. These funds will serve for that purpose, as no local community can finance it alone," Bojić explained. The other part of the funds will be used for water supply in three villages in Lijevče Polje. Bojić stated that these are projects the local community cannot finance on its own, but that the City of Laktaši will also allocate certain funds. He reminded that the Government of Srpska had financially assisted this local community in the previous period as well, and that this money was invested in new roadways. He said that the construction of a sports and recreational zone will start soon, for which the procedure has already been initiated. "Without the support of the Srpska Government, it is difficult for a local community to develop. Laktaši is an area with a highly developed economy that fills the budget of Republika Srpska, and of course, we always expect a good portion of those funds to be returned to us," emphasized Bojić. The Government of Republika Srpska recently adopted information on the need to finance priority capital projects in Laktaši in the amount of 6 million KM, among which is the construction of a sewage network in the Trn settlement. This also refers to projects related to the paving, construction, and rehabilitation of local and unclassified roads, as well as the construction of a pedestrian path in the Veliko Blaško settlement. As emphasized, these are projects that will contribute to improving the infrastructure and the quality of life of the citizens.
