KARAN WITH U.S. CONGRESSMEN: SRPSKA ADVOCATES PRESERVING ITS CONSTITUTIONAL POSITION
ISTOČNO SARAJEVO, MAY 24 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska President Siniša Karan said during talks with a U.S. Congressional delegation that Republika Srpska advocates consistent respect for the Dayton Peace Agreement and the preservation of its constitutional position.
In a meeting with Congressmen Keith Self and Suhas Subramanyam, President Karan stressed that Republika Srpska institutions are strongly committed to dialogue among domestic leaders and to preserving peace and stability, according to a press release from the President’s Office. The meeting was held at the Republika Srpska Government headquarters in Istočno Sarajevo and was attended by the Chargé d’Affaires of the U.S. Embassy in BiH, John Ginkel.
