KNEŽEVIĆ: THE UNITY OF THE SERBIAN PEOPLE IS IMPORTANT

BANJA LUKA, MAY 24 /SRNA/ - The President of the Democratic People's Party of Montenegro, Milan Knežević, emphasized the importance of the unity and togetherness of the Serbian people in Serbia, Montenegro, and Republika Srpska in these turbulent geopolitical times.

"Montenegro has proclaimed its goal, which is EU membership, but we have made it clear to everyone residing in Brussels and across Western Europe that they should know that for any true Serb and Montenegrin, neither Brussels nor any other city can be closer than Belgrade and Banja Luka," said Knežević. In his address at the Assembly of United Srpska in Banja Luka, Knežević noted that there were attempts to suppress these ideas at the beginning of the 21st century. Knežević emphasized that the Serbian people have shown throughout the centuries that the wounds of their own people hurt them equally. "Belgrade - Banja Luka - Podgorica, that is one family," concluded Knežević.
