MINIĆ HANDS OVER DECISIONS ON SUPPORT FOR THE PROCUREMENT OF "BELARUS" TRACTORS
BANJA LUKA, AUGUST 10 /SRNA/ - The Prime Minister of Republika Srpska Savo Minić handed over decisions today on Manjača to beneficiaries who met the conditions and qualified for support for the procurement of "Belarus" tractors.
Minić pointed out that the Government of Republika Srpska will continue to invest in the village and agriculture, and reminded that during the past seven years, investments were made to procure more than 2,400 tractors. "Your obligation is to continue with agricultural production, and ours is to enable further work through the processing and storage sectors," Minić told the beneficiaries who qualified for the support. Minić announced that the Government has started another major project, which relates to irrigation systems, emphasizing that 20 local communities are included. "By the end of next year, we will invest BAM 31 million in irrigation systems," Minić emphasized. When it comes to the procurement of "Belarus" tractors, Minić stated that cooperation began in 2024, that a good service network was created, and that so far they have not had a single complaint about the work of that network. The Minister of Agriculture, Forestry, and Water Management Anđelka Kuzmić thanked agricultural producers for staying in the village and cultivating the land, stating that their enthusiasm and sacrifice are reflected through their agricultural holdings. The Secretary at the Embassy of Belarus in Hungary Vasili Panaradau pointed out that the equipment produced in Belarus is reliable and economical. He emphasized that this form of cooperation will be continued. The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Water Management published a list of 84 beneficiaries who met the conditions for support in the procurement of these tractors, for which the Government of Srpska allocated BAM 3.95 million. On the list are 84 agricultural holdings from all over Republika Srpska, which realize a return of 60 percent on the invested funds. Supported are 23 families with three or more children, six graduate engineers, and 55 young agricultural producers.
