BLAGOJEVICH: RADICAL ISLAM INFECTION UNDERMINES RIGHTS OF SERB PEOPLE IN BiH
WASHINGTON, SEPTEMBER 1 /SRNA/ - Former Illinois Governor and close associate of the US President Rod Blagojevich assessed that the radical Islam infection undermines the rights of Serbs in BiH, and that attacks on President Milorad Dodik are, in fact, attacks on the right of the Serb people to self-determination.
"The same thing is happening to President Milorad Dodik in BiH that happened to US President Donald Trump and to me in Illinois. President Dodik was convicted of a non-crimes by a high representative from Germany, elected by nobody as a high representative in BiH. There is a system that was created in the USA by the Dayton Peace Agreement in 1995. It is a tremendous attack on the Serb people and their right to self-determination, the right to choose a leader in the elections, and on the right of President Dodik to serve his people," Blagojevich said in Adam Goodman's podcast. Blagojevich recalled that the unelected German criminalized the fact that the Republic Day was celebrated in Republika Srpska on January 9, reminding that it is "Serb Independence Day" and that the Orthodox holiday of St. Stephen is also celebrated on that day. "It is criminalized because the Federation of BiH is controlled by a Muslim government that has strong ties to Iran. I have nothing against Muslims, everyone has the right to choose their religion, but the infection of radical Islam that undermines democracy against the Serbian people there, the Serbian Christian Orthodox people – I think that is part of my destiny," Blagojevich said, explaining that his maternal grandparents came to America from BiH in the early 20th century. Blagojevich added that what brought him to BiH and Republika Srpska was "more of a divine thing" than something he "deliberately expected."
