DODIK: LATEST CREDIT RATING ASSESSMENT - CONFIRMATION OF STABLE ECONOMY

BANJA LUKA, AUGUST 11 /SRNA/ – President Milorad Dodik has stressed today that the latest credit rating assessment is a major recognition that Republika Srpska has moved two steps forward and, despite complex circumstances, climbed two notches higher.

"A huge boost for our economy and security for our people and everyone in Srpska. All the time, we have pursued responsible economic policies, known what we wanted, and received confirmation that we are a stable and perspective economy,"Dodik posted on X. Dodik also said that those who present themselves as economic experts may not understand or read, may even lie or make up the worst-case scenarios, but they could at least apologize. "Not to us, but to the people," Dodik said. Standard & Poor’s global ratings agency, in its latest report following its regular annual assessment, confirmed Republika Srpska’s credit rating at "B", while improving the outlook from "negative" to "stable".
