SERBS WILL NOT ACCEPT LABEL OF GENOCIDAL PEOPLE

BANJA LUKA, APRIL 18 /SRNA/ - The President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik said that he would not accept that the Serb people and generations to come were attributed the label of genocidal nation.

"No one can commit a crime and claim to have done it in the name of the Serb people. The entire leadership of Republika Srpska was brought to court in order to stick a label on the people using hidden methods," Dodik said at the session of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska. He added that more Serbs were killed in Sarajevo in prisons and camps than Bosniaks in Srebrenica. "It is not true that eight thousand Bosniaks were killed in Srebrenica, you made it up because you needed it," said Dodik. He reminded that Muslim leader Alija Izetbegović demanded from the entire military leadership to withdraw from the protected area of Srebrenica so that the Serbs could enter and massacre five thousand people, and war commander Sefer Halilović said that Alija was crazy. "That does not justify the crime, but it speaks of preparation. Someone arranged to stage the situation," pointed out Dodik and reminded that similar lies were also made about Markale. He emphasized that the Bosniaks created an atmosphere of genocide even when no war crimes had been done and that they wanted to wash away their dirty past from the Second World War through such a story, and one of those attempts is the UN resolution. "On this story, the structure of BiH's foreign policy has failed. Bosniaks persistently try to abuse the system of international mechanisms," Dodik stressed. He emphasized that this story was created under strong lobbying and that it is not true that Serbia was convicted of genocide or that it did not prevent it. Dodik stated that he felt sorry for every person who died in BiH, regardless of which nation they belonged to.
