DODIK: THOSE WHO WORK AGAINST SRPSKA WILL HAVE A PROBLEM WITH IT

GRADIŠKA, APRIL 27 /SRNA/ - The President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik has stated today that the resolution on Srebrenica is a cunning move against one nation and said that those who work against Republika Srpska will have a problem with it, but that the Serb people have no reason to fear and concern that Srpska will do what is in its interest.

"If the resolution is adopted, we reject it. We cannot accept that qualification. Genocide is a moral disqualification of a nation. Republika Srpska no longer sees any reason why it should exist in Bosnia and Herzegovina after this," Dodik said in Gradiška, where 29 year since the exodus of Serbs from western Slavonia in the Croatian operation "Bljesak" when 283 Serbs were killed, among them 12 children, were marked. He emphasized that there was no genocide in Srebrenica, nor anywhere else in Bosnia and Herzegovina. "Genocide was committed against the Serbian people in the First and Second World Wars. There is no freedom without character," Dodik said. He pointed out that the goal of such a resolution is not reconciliation. "Why is my narrative extreme and not a resolution? Your goal is to suffocate us. If the goal was reconciliation, they would push for something else," Dodik pointed out. He said that Republika Srpska does not want to go to war. "I am fighting and I want everyone to be equal in Srpska. Those who work against it will have a problem with it. Republika Srpska will do what it thinks is in its interest. In the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina they are threatening to dig trenches and that means nothing to us, we do not care. I tell our people that there is no reason to fear and worry," Dodik says. He once again thanked the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, who made an undoubted effort to present the views of Republika Srpska and Serbia on this issue. "I am grateful to Serbia for everything. Vučić does not hesitate to protect the interests of Serbia and Srpska and understands the events in Bosnia and Herzegovina. He does not wish harm to Bosniaks and no one thinks about the conflict, but about politics, which is that we do not want to live the way some of us they want to qualify", emphasized Dodik. He stressed that Republika Srpska is the state of all who live here, and primarily of the Serb people. "Let our people celebrate all our wonderful holidays. Celebrate the holidays and Easter and do it according to our customs and traditions. Srpska protects you and we want to build peace.
