SERBIAN PEOPLE MADE HUGE SACRIFICE FOR FREEDOM, EVEN FOR OTHER NATIONS

BANJA LUKA, MAY 9 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik said that the Serbian people made enormous sacrifices for freedom, even for other nations, during World War II, and he does not allow the label of "genocidal" to be attached to them as those who suffered.

"The Bosniak political elite believes that Republika Srpska should be eliminated as such, and we do not see a way in which we could make decisions together in BiH with those who persistently try to achieve anti-Serbian measures around the world outside of procedures," emphasized Dodik. He has said that Republika Srpska will respond very clearly to the shameful attempt to label the Serbian people as genocidal, especially because it is sponsored by the Germans whose ideology was fascist in World War II. "Today we commemorate Victory over Fascism Day at a time when all freedom-loving countries of the world are doing so, especially Russia, which lost up to 28 million inhabitants in the battles it fought for the final destruction of Hitler's Germany, thus liberating a significant number of countries," Dodik told reporters in Banja Luka. He said that the international court, installed by those who demonized Serbs from the beginning, condemned members of the Serbian political and state leadership. "We do not accept any politicization. The Srebrenica Resolution is purely a political act and has nothing to do with law, but aims to produce legal effects," Dodik said. He has said that the Serbs created Republika Srpska as an antifascist entity, and the leader of the Bosnian Muslims, Alija Izetbegović, wanted to create a unitary BiH from which Serbs would be expelled, or where they would be killed. "He, as a member of the Handschar Division, but also the ideology he advocated in the 1990s, was enough to remind Serbs of the difficult times of suffering in World War II," Dodik emphasized. He said that today we live in freedom, guaranteed to everyone in Republika Srpska. Regarding the European perspective, Dodik said the EU will collapse before BiH joins it.
