RUSSIA IS A PARTNER AND LIKE-MINDED POLITICAL ALLY OF SRPSKA

BANJA LUKA, JUNE 11 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik has said that the Russian Federation is a partner and like-minded political ally of Republika Srpska, which sees Russia as a fair side of contemporary times and history.

"I consider the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, not only a great leader but also a national treasure of Russia. He loves his people, but also other people," Dodik said in Banja Luka at the ceremony of the opening of the Office of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in BiH. He emphasized that Putin today, as always, stands for peace, but a peace that entails defending national and state interests. Dodik has said that the opening of the Office of the Russian Embassy is an important moment for Republika Srpska, the result of great efforts of both Republika Srpska and Russia, for which he thanked Putin, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Lavrov and the Russian Ambassador to BiH Igor Kalabukhov.
