BRICS OPEN SPORTS GAMES IN KAZAN, SRPSKA NATIONAL TEAM PARTICIPATES

BANJA LUKA, JUNE 12 /SRNA/ - The BRICS sports games, in which Republika Srpska national team also performs, opened tonight in the Russian city of Kazan.

The national team of Republika Srpska performs under its flag and symbols, and is represented by sixty-four athletes in eight sports. The BRICS Games were officially opened by the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, after which the Russian national anthem was played. On Monday, June 10, Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik and Prime Minister Radovan Višković saw off Republika Srpska national team to the sports games in Kazan, and said they were proud of the athletes who would represent their Republic. The BRICS sports games in Kazan will last until June 23, and participation in this respectable competition has been confirmed by 97 countries.
