VIŠKOVIĆ: SANCTIONS ARE NOT REFLECTION OF POWER BUT HISTORICAL EXAMPLE OF INJUSTICE
BANJA LUKA, JUNE 18/SRNA/ - The Prime Minister of Republika Srpska Radovan Višković said that the new package of American sanctions is not a reflection of power, but a historical example of injustice aimed at Srpska and free politics, whose source of decision-making is not found in individual embassies in Sarajevo but in people.
"Today's new package of American sanctions is another confirmation of what we have been pointing out for a long time, which is that their goal is the collapse and eventual abolition of Republika Srpska, by certain forces led by America," Višković said. It is devastating, he said, that someone is trying to realize their political interests by making it difficult for certain companies to do business and stifling media freedom. "This is nothing but another pressure on the leadership of Republika Srpska, with the aim of slowing down economic activity through economic pressure and a direct attack on our businessmen, as well as to weaken the political stance of the leadership of Republika Srpska. Neither one nor the other will happen, we have shown that we are familiar with such matters, as well as that the vast majority of the world does not think like those who impose sanctions on us," Višković said. The Foreign Assets Control Office of the US Ministry of Finance has imposed sanctions on seven companies from Srpska, as well as the owner of the Infinity Group, Đorđe Đurić and the general manager of the "Kaldera" company, Milenko Čičić, who, as stated, represent the main sources of income for the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, and his family, it was announced from the US Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina. As stated, the sanctioned network consists of seven entities - Infinity International Group, "Prointer", "Kaldera", Infinity Media, K-2 Audio Service, Una World Network and Sirius 2001 and two individuals Đurić and Čičić.
