KARAN: MISSION’S OPINION PAVING PATH TO UNITARY BiH CREATION
BANJA LUKA, JUNE 25 /SRNA/ - The non-binding opinion of the Venice Commission is nothing more than paving the path and implementing the ideas of unitarians with the aim of creating a "civil", read unitary BiH in which certain Komšićs and Dunovićs will represent the interests of the peoples whom they "belong" to, constitutional law professor Siniša Karan pointed out in his SRNA statement.
When asked by SRNA to comment on the opinion of the Venice Commission, at the request of BiH Presidency member Željko Komšić, which is emphasizing that "ethnicity should not be used as a basis for the selection of BiH Constitutional Court judges", Professor Karan emphasized that the Constitutional Court of BiH is an unconcealed mechanism and weapon of all unitarians, adding that Republika Srpska had warned about it several times. "That institution, if it can even be called an institution, has caused greater evil to BiH, even more than all those foreigners and 'internationals' who have been making our lives miserable here for decades. This latest opinion is a catastrophic and flagrant violation of the constitutional arrangement and structure," Karan pointed out. He emphasized that the Constitutional Court of BiH has become an alienated center of power, authority over authorities, an obvious example of sudocracy, an organ of arbitrariness, a branch of the Greater Bosniak majoritarian policy, a destroyer of the Dayton-based, agreed principles and the Constitution of BiH, a leader in the elimination of the found framework of coexistence in a multi-ethnic confedera--federal newly created federal state community.
