BANJA LUKA, SEPTEMBER 26 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik has said that the SHP Group, which includes the Banja Luka-based SHP Celex, plans to make an investment next year worth around 150 million euros, which will be one of the largest investments in the real sector in this region.

"We will provide support for everything that will be part of the business plans of this company," said Dodik, who today in Banja Luka, along with the owner of SHP Celex Milan Fila, officially put the wastewater treatment plant into operation. Dodik told reporters that this company continuously employs a significant number of workers. "We will always support such investors who have clear social and ecological responsibilities and are willing to innovate and move forward. I am proud of the friendship we have built, which has lasted for 24 years since this company has been in operation," the Republika Srpska President said. Dodik expressed his pleasure that the company's business plans include the construction of an energy block to ensure smooth operations, which the institutions of Republika Srpska will support. He pointed out that this wastewater treatment facility is something that has been done for the first time in Republika Srpska. "Someone with this type of production ensures complete wastewater treatment so that nothing with pollution elements is released into nature. This is not a small investment," said Dodik. He noted that the privatization of the former Banja Luka Celex was successful, evidenced by the fact that the company has been operating smoothly for 24 years, despite various challenges, economic crises, and even a significant fire that previously struck it.
