STRENGTHEN COOPERATION WITH TATARSTAN TO MUTUAL SATISFACTION

KAZAN, OCTOBER 20 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik emphasized today in Kazan that Srpska should not miss the opportunities for cooperation in various sectors offered by Tatarstan.

Dodik expects a Tatarstan delegation, led by Minister Korobchenko, to visit Srpska, and all possibilities for collaboration to be worked out in the coming period. "This should not be missed because Tatarstan is known in Russia as a republic where innovations are the most significant factor driving development," emphasized Dodik. He noted that it is impressive what Tatarstan has achieved in the fields of oil production technology, chemistry, and petrochemistry, as well as in pharmaceuticals and information technology, which undoubtedly take the lead in some solutions at a global level. "That is why it is important that we are here today on behalf of Republika Srpska. I am grateful for the warm hospitality and the opportunity to understand how a republic develops and demonstrates the ability to advance to a level that we all aspire to achieve," said Dodik. He has said that during his visit to Kazan, he learned about Tatarstan's achievements, emphasizing that Tatarstan, as an industrial area, is a leader within Russia. He noted that in terms of design, production, and the quality of cars, buses, construction, and other machinery, Tatarstan keeps pace with the most advanced Western technologies. "This shows that Russia has managed, through the unfair sanctions imposed by the West, to find its way, to produce domestically what it previously imported, and in doing so, to strengthen its economic and industrial power," Dodik emphasized. The President of Republika Srpska expressed his gratitude to the hosts for their hospitality in Kazan and for the opportunity to participate in BRICS, which he described as the future of humanity, not bound by any power centers. "Right here, BRICS needs to provide answers this year on how the world will move forward and organize itself in the future," Dodik told SRNA and RTRS, during his visit to the exhibition of technology produced in Tatarstan. Oleg Korobchenko, the Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan, expressed his satisfaction with the visit of Milorad Dodik, the President of Republika Srpska, to Kazan, noting that they had the opportunity to inform him about their achievements and possibilities for cooperation. Korobchenko has said that during today's meetings with Dodik in Kazan, concrete steps were agreed upon for developing cooperation in multiple areas, to bring Tatarstan and Republika Srpska even closer and strengthen their collaboration to the mutual satisfaction of both parties. "We can work in the fields of oil, petrochemistry, culture, and educational exchange, and we need to become much closer," said Korobchenko. He emphasized that it is a major event in Russia, and it is rare for 34 heads of state to gather in one place, as is the case in Kazan during the BRICS Summit.
