KONAKOVIĆ IS TRYING TO BRING BiH INTO CONFLICT PHASE
BANJA LUKA, JANUARY 13 /SRNA/ - The Speaker of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska Nenad Stevandić told SRNA today that the Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Council of Ministers Elemdin Konaković is trying to bring BiH into a phase of conflict and instability.
Reagarding the initiative for Konaković's dismissal, Stevandić assessed that Konaković and the Minister of Defense in the Council of Ministers, Zukan Helez, are factors in future conflicts between nations, regional conflicts, and that they disrupt regional stability. "They are at war with Serbia and Croatia and their presidents. It is clear that they are people who cannot throw far," Stevandić said. If something in BiH depended on Konaković and Helez, says Stevandić, Bosniaks in BiH would be hungry and thirsty because the two of them are not capable of making anything in the economic field, reminding that gas in BiH comes from Serbia, as well as that most suppliers come from from Serbia and Croatia. "BiH is most dependent on its neighbors, the Serbs and Croats, and towards them the most intolerance is shown. It is a completely unreasonable politics that is ultimately directed against the Bosniaks as well," Stevandić concluded. When it comes to the call of the association of mothers of Srebrenica to the BiH Prosecutor's Office to initiate proceedings against Stevandić for violating the constitutional order as the organizer of the Republika Srpska Day celebration, he said that the hysteria over the celebration of January 9 lasts for two days every year. "I am of the opinion that it is better not to incite hatred and to show them that we are for celebration, not for war. January 9 is a holiday of peace, while March 1 is a holiday of war, so let them deal with the holidays of war, not peace." Stevandić emphasized. Sanja Vulić, head of the Club of SNSD deputies in the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, told SRNA that the initiative for the dismissal of the Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Council of Ministers Elmedin Konaković was handed over to the House of Representatives today.
