KOŠARAC: TREASONOUS OPPOSITION POLICY LEFT BiH-LEVEL INSTITUTIONS WITHOUT SERBS
BANJA LUKA, FEBRUARY 7 /SRNA/ - The Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations in the Council of Ministers Staša Košarac told SRNA that the opposition from Republika Srpska is offering itself to Sarajevo, regardless of the party, to take over positions at the BiH level, warning that their approach is disastrous as it involves the transfer of jurisdictions and a treasonous policy that has left institutions without Serbs, whose fate is now being decided by parties from FBiH.
"The opposition in Srpska - or rather, the opposition to Srpska - is motivated by positions and accepts being a ping-pong ball between the political needs of the 'Troika' and the SDA, which articulates this in its way by taking a clear stance that they support all dismissals but will wait on appointments. This demonstrates a servile approach by the opposition from Republika Srpska, which seeks to take positions in Sarajevo at any cost without aligning with the policies of Republika Srpska," Košarac said on the SRNA podcast. He said that the opposition's policy is regrettable and will be remembered for the fact that key institutions at the BiH level have been left without Serbian representative due to their actions. "The question now is whether we can even elect them. Due to their treasonous policy, we have reached a point where the selection of Serbian personnel depends on the Troika and the SDA," pointed out Košarac, who is also the Deputy Chairman of the BiH Council of Ministers. He said that parties based in the Federation still follow the orders of Michael Murphy and Christian Schmidt, just like the judiciary, which, under their directive, initiated proceedings against the President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik. "What do they expect? Our policy is not one of servility but of sovereignty and democracy. This is a trial against Republika Srpska, but in reality, they are putting BiH on trial. That process should have been halted long ago, and I believe in an acquittal," Košarac said. Regarding the issue of Trgovska Gora, Košarac said that action should have been taken earlier at the BiH level, as only Republika Srpska had been addressing the matter. He emphasized that he would do everything possible to ensure that Croatia relocates the nuclear waste repository elsewhere. "They are working on studies, but they are obligated to share information with us. They refuse to cooperate with us. For this reason, we have selected an international office based in Paris to handle this issue. We will not give up. Croatia will damage its relations with BiH if it continues down this path. We will seek all possible ways to halt the construction of the repository," Košarac said. The new episode of SRNA's podcast, featuring Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers Staša Košarac as a guest, will be available to our service users, on YouTube and social media tomorrow from 10:00.
