DODIK: ANNUL ALL ANTI-DAYTON AND ANTI-CONSTITUTIONAL DECISIONS AND LAWS

PRIJEDOR, FEBRUARY 21 /SRNA/ - SNSD Leader Miorad Dodik says this party launched an initiative to annul all decisions and laws that were not passed in accordance with the Dayton Peace Agreement and the Constitution of BiH, stressing that Srpska does not recognise any decision made by Christian Schmidt.

"We believe that the EU could at least partially improve its image and return to supporting what is right. This means that it must unquestioningly support the Constitution of BiH and the letter of the Constitution. If it does not do so, then it is on the side of destroying BiH," Dodik stated at a press conference in Prijedor after the meeting of the SNSD Main Committee. He said that it was established at the session that only the SNSD from Republika Srpska defends the Constitution of BiH, which was rejected by the Bosniak side at the beginning, not wanting to verify the Dayton Peace Agreement, but signing Annex 4, which is the Constitution of BiH as part of an international treaty. "Republika Srpska, as a signatory to the Constitution of BiH, has the right to temporarily suspend all acts that were passed outside the Constitution of BiH, so we in Srpska stand by that," emphasized Dodik. He said that the political situation in BiH is extremely unstable and that the SNSD believes that the Dayton Peace Agreement was destroyed by the activities of unconstitutional factors such as Christian Schmidt, the Court and the Prosecutor's Office of BiH, the unconstitutionally conceived Constitutional Court of BiH. Dodik pointed out that the SNSD Main Committee does not recognise any of Schmidt’s decisions and insists on the consistent application of the BiH Constitution, the laws of Republika Srpska and the Dayton Peace Agreement, adding that this is why it is necessary to step up the decisive fight to preserve the BiH Constitution. "If that doesn't happen, we will have to return to the session of the Main Committee and state that the Dayton Peace Agreement and BiH have collapsed because we failed to deal with the factors that want to organise BiH outside the Constitution," said Dodik.
